Jan Gleisner is an independent financial advisor based in Del Mar, California.
With his international background and entrepreneurial spirit, he has brought an unconventional yet personal approach to financial planning. His strategy mixes traditional investments with the little known but easy to own solutions that the majority of Fortune 1000 executives use as part of their executive benefit planning.
He advises families and closely held businesses on investment allocation and risk management.
He has previously served on the City Ballet of San Diego board, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, in charge of the endowment program. He serves on the advisory board for the Denmark-based international toy company Moover Toys and was instrumental to securing their initial capital when the company went international.
Jan began his career with GE Financial, where he swiftly became the top advisor for the San Diego region. After GE Financial went public as Genworth Financial, he successfully proceeded to build a wealth management firm affiliated with independent broker-dealers for several years.
He achieved a Master's in Social Sciences – Business & Communication, Summa Cum Laude, from Roskilde University, Denmark, from which he also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business.
He holds the series 63, 65 investment licenses and California insurance license # 0D77385.
